Wisely is not medical care
Wisely is a book discovery and recommendation platform. Nothing on Wisely — including clinician reviews, ratings, and reading lists — is medical advice, therapy, diagnosis, or treatment, and reading a recommended book is not a substitute for care from a licensed professional. If you are in crisis, call or text 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline, US) or your local emergency number.
Using Wisely
You must be at least 13 years old. You are responsible for your account and for keeping your credentials private. We may suspend accounts that abuse the service, scrape it, or misrepresent professional credentials.
Clinician accounts
Clinician features are for licensed mental-health professionals. By registering as a clinician you represent that your license and NPI information are accurate and current. Verification checks are made against public registries; misrepresenting credentials is grounds for removal.
Your content
Reviews and lists you publish remain yours; you grant Wisely a license to display them on the platform. Reviews speak only for their author, are general commentary on a book — never advice about any individual — and must not contain information about any client or identifiable person. We may remove content that breaks these rules.
Affiliate revenue
Purchase links are affiliate links (Amazon Associates, Bookshop.org). Prices are the same for you; retailers pay Wisely a commission that funds the service.
No warranties; limitation of liability
Wisely is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind. Book metadata and ratings come partly from third-party sources and may contain errors. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Wisely is not liable for decisions made in reliance on content found here.
Changes
We may update these terms; material changes will be noted on this page with a new date. Questions: legal@wisely.page.
